was when a c.90 y/o said "Jewish lobby" when I think he meant "Pro-Israel lobby" in the UK. Which was AS.

Chair pounced immediately and put him right, said unless he withdrew the statement there and then and apologised.

He did, very humbly and I think meant it.

But it was a public meeting and as it turned out the geezer wasn't a Labour member anyway.
