that the Tory publicity machine is seeding various photographs of a serious and heavily burdened-looking Johnson and asking its members and social media pros to spread far and wide.
All in an attempt to convey to the public just how the weight of the crisis is on the great leader's shoulders and how seriously he is taking it. This is to be the narrative of the next 7 days apparently: Let's pity him.
All but one* of the pictures they've provided are from before the Covid-19 crisis (* and that one was staged).
Will the great British public buy it?
