Well, let's plough on with this foolish premise just to see how far we get before someone suffers a nervous breakdown, shall we (adopts Craig Cash Gogglebox voice) ....lots of stuff happened in 2002!
- The euro became the official physical currency for 12 European Union member states; adios Peseta, auf wiedersehen Deutsche Mark and so forth
- The 2002 Winter Olympics were held in Salt Lake City, and the FIFA World Cup was held in Japan and South Korea. Brazil beat Germany 2-0 in the final
- Queen Elizabeth II had a Golden Jubilee year, but the Queen Mother didn't make it past March gawd bless 'er
- Freeview and BBC 6Music were launched
- Sanyo released the SCP-5300, the first mobile phone with an integrated camera. Critics in the UK argued that picture messaging would never take off due to data costs
- City secured promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking, winning the First Division by a clear 10 points while scoring 108 league goals - the most since the 1957–58 season. Shaun Goater got 32 of them, but Ali B was the main man...

Full versions on the Spotify app, web player or YouTube playlist below
If you're annoyed with constant ads on the web (desktop) version of YouTube then I use a combination of Ghostery and Adblock Plus, both of which are available for multiple platforms and give you zero / nada / zilch advert breaks. Brave browser does it all by default anyway.
For ad-free Spotify then either pay yer subs or, like me, use the BurntSushi hack (on Windows, latest version HERE, download and install the .exe OR .msi file) or spotify-adblock (Linux and some other platforms.) Small faffage involved but both really do the job.
- It will be a very traditional Christmas, with presents, crackers, doors slamming and people bursting into tears -
