We're staring down the barrel of the biggest global recessions ever.
Even the most optimistic predictions for Brexit had an economic hit built in to their figures and the most likely scenario now with time running out rapidly before decisions have to be made (1st July) and the UK are ploughing on for the No Deal that they promised the electorate they wouldn't be going for (red lines on fishing and ECJ involvement in things)
Is there any sanity whatsoever in not ever contemplating the possibility of an extention to the deadline?
Given the immigration was one of the main reason behind it, and we're now seeing the problems associated with that with fewer nurses and doctors available, as well as food starting to not be picked due to lack of workers, will people start to realise the whole thng is a mistake? And is that WHY the hard right brexiteers in government are so desperate to finish this all off while peple are distracted?
