I know it's only a small thing (and a bit nerdy) but for visiting counties someone even goes to the trouble of creating a framed array of the visiting county's ties through history, including past testimonials etc. for display in the Pavilion.

It's a kind of bourgeois good manners and cordiality that can be appreciated.

And my missus reckons it's the best Pimms that can be bought anywhere.
