and I think these ****ers in government are near criminal (no deal risk is just damn stupid), to be truthful I can see the EU being in a bad way - maybe, politically, worse than the UK - in the not too distant future.

Italy a major challenge for the EU.  That silly currency just can't accommodate the diverse economies and once in, how the **** do you get out of the Euro, esp. with German ordoliberalism holding sway.

The challenges thrown up by Coronavirus only exacerbate.

Whereas we can generate money and do what the heck we need to, if the will is there.
