There are two interesting articles on the BBC this morning:

1. An article by the health correspondent which covers an academic group's herd immunity plan.  They want to see much stronger protection put in place for the old.
2. The BOE economic forecast.

Are we between peaks?  For me the UK has always been following herd immunity plan because the economic prospects of a 2nd peak are just diabolical.

Does Germany have a way out with very efficient testing and tracing.  

That's where we''re going now but in truth all it does is hold the virus off.  No one knows if it could protect a nation from mass infection again during the Winter.....it is seasonal.

That's why the herd immunity plan has advocates....it provides a way out but so far no country has been able to protect the old.

The other way out is of course a vaccine.
