I have an acquaintance who is involved with the Holocaust Memorial Trust*. Acquaintance is Jewish.
I asked them about PA being banned. The answer was:
- imagine being Swiss in 1943
- imagine you knew a local factory was providing equipment to the Nazis so they can prosecute the Holocaust more effectively
- would you be a terrorist for picketing it? spraying paint on it? drawing people's attention to it?
As they put it, "If you ever wondered what you'd have done about the Holocaust, just look at what you're doing now and you have your answer.".
* and is frustrated about its reluctance to recognise what's happening to Palestinians (and indeed the Armenian Genocide).
