dismissed as lefty handwringing, a Guardian report on the destruction of natural habitats bringing people into closer contact with animals bearing new Covid strains or other human-transferable diseases. We then eat them or **** them starting the process of zoonosis[*].
There's a real danger of a vicious circle here, where economies savaged by Covid have no choice but to accelerate laying waste to natural resources, exposing more and more diseases. Gaia knows the score.
